The Rest Of the Gang

This is the rest of the family, certainly no less important than the Gypsy Cobs though
The Shetlands

Our family has been breeding Shetlands since the early 1980's and these are just a few of the ones left since the Gypsy Cobs took over. Most of the ponies are bred from Thorpeville Studs imported lines, but as well my favourites all descend from a mare of theirs called Yamboon Park Dimple. One of the last mares I ever purchased was a grand-daughter of Dimple and by their imported blue roan stallion. Thorpeville Dayama was bought on my brothers wedding day at auction, I had to duck out before the reception to pay for her and Ray McConville delivered her the next day! Not a surprise to my brother really though!

Red Dirt Girl

You couldn't wish for a more versatile mare, Dirty literally lived in my backyard while in Kalgoorlie, even invited herself into the house whenever she didn't think I'd notice. Went to gymkhanas, rodeos, bush events, shows, clinics and even just to the pub in an evening. She's travelled in various floats, trucks and even on the back of my ute.

Dirty is undisputable lead mare, nothing happens on the farm without her say so. I’ve never owned such an opinionated horse! But she’s so much fun, I can take her anywhere and do anything with her. She’s got a great turn of speed for games, and will even jump. I can ride her around to the neighbours for a beer with nothing but a string around her neck. Sit on the ground under her to do her feet and know I’m safe. Her and Stormy have be inseparable since Stormy arrived and Dirty takes all the foals under her wing. I wouldn’t be without her.

The Dogs

They probably don't really play a part on a horse website but they are a part of the family so I have included a few pictures. My border collies travel pretty much anywhere I do!

Wrangler is the big blonde(red) and Gypsy is the old girl. Although you wouldn't know it the way she runs around with Pol! Pol is the little tri, and the newest addition
